I never know how long an article will be when I start creating a new Episode of Other Days with Earl. I expected to have all the information about plaids that I was aware of all in one tidy little article. Well, it didn't turn out that way. The article on gingham got to 16 pages so I thought that was enough. More information on different ways to create plaids will be in future episodes.
I show you how to make a basic gingham pattern. Along the way, I show you some things about using Photoshop. I also show you the way I would rotate the gingham paper so that it is on the diagonal, or any other any you would like. I show you how to change the color using a couple of methods.
If you would like to obtain this Episode 7, you can download the PDF file from box dot com by clicking here.
As a freebie for you, I have three papers that you can download from box dot com.
As a teaser here are examples of plaids that I will show you how to make in future episodes of Other Days with Earl.
Welcome to EarlK Design!
The EarlK Design blog consists mainly of entries that show how to do things using Adobe Photoshop that I hope you will find helpful and give your creative mind more tools to work with.
I use Adobe Photoshop CS6, and sometimes Adobe Illustrator CS5, Lightroom 5, and Corel Painter X. However, I believe that much of what I show can be done using Photoshop Elements.
