What is Earl up to? In Other Days with Earl Episode 12, Earl was showing us how to keep from getting rounded corners. Now, he wants to show us how to get rounded corners.
Yes, now I want to show you how to get rounded corners. I want to show you how to get round corners on one, two, three, or four corners of a rectangular shape. Such as the following:
I'll show you how to put the rounded corners on one corner, two corners on the same side, two corners on opposite corners, three corners, and all four corners. Then I will show you how to add strokes to these shapes while keeping the round round and the square square.
Then I will show you how to make thin overlays, with one, two, three, or four rounded corners, that you can use to highlight certain areas of your layout. I don't actually show you this image in the Episode, but others that will show you how this one was done. If you want to see how the edge border was done, you can go to Other Days with Earl Episode 1: Crinkly Edge, dated July 26, 2010. There I show you how to do it. Episode 1 is near the beginning of my blog.
I hope you find this episode helpful to you in your designing your layouts.
Enjoy what you do!
Welcome to EarlK Design!
The EarlK Design blog consists mainly of entries that show how to do things using Adobe Photoshop that I hope you will find helpful and give your creative mind more tools to work with.
I use Adobe Photoshop CS6, and sometimes Adobe Illustrator CS5, Lightroom 5, and Corel Painter X. However, I believe that much of what I show can be done using Photoshop Elements.
