I have you start with opening our normal new 12 x 12 inch, 300 ppi, RGB, white background document.
We add in new layers creating a basic template that has an area for 3 or 4 photos that have rounded corners on some of the corners. Or we could use 1 or more of the areas for journeling. We end up with this basic template.
We will make the template so that it is easy to change colors and gradients. Also easy to change the photos.
Here is an example of one use of the template.
And here the photos have been easily replaced.
I think you will see that it is quite easy to create your own templates.
If you would like to have a copy of Other Days with Earl Episode 15: Rounded Corners Template-Using what you know to make a template, you can download the PDF file for the episode by clicking here.
I have also made available to you the layered PSD file of the template that you can also download from 4shared and use. However, I do recommend that you create your own template while going through the tutorial. The file is large (about 170 MB) and may take a little while to download. If you do want the layered PSD file click here.
I hope you find this episode interesting and helpful.
