Welcome to another Episode of Other Days with Earl. This is Episode 16: Text on a Path. I will show you how to put text on a simple curved path. I am using a Mac with Photoshop CS4. I do not believe that Photoshop Elements has a Pen Tool or the Path Selection Tool. For those of you who are using Photoshop Elements this Episode will probably be mostly just for information. However, if some day in the future you do get Photoshop CSx, you will already know how all this works. However, Photoshop Elements users, if you haven't been to my blog before, look at some of the items that have been posted in the past. You may find many things of interest.
I will show you how to make a simple curved open path with the Pen Tool and then how to put text on the path that you create with the Pen Tool. I will show you right adjusted, left adjusted, and centered text on a path.
I will also show you how to make text right side up on the bottom of a circular path.

That's all for now.
Enjoy life and your scrapbooking!
Welcome to EarlK Design!
The EarlK Design blog consists mainly of entries that show how to do things using Adobe Photoshop that I hope you will find helpful and give your creative mind more tools to work with.
I use Adobe Photoshop CS6, and sometimes Adobe Illustrator CS5, Lightroom 5, and Corel Painter X. However, I believe that much of what I show can be done using Photoshop Elements.
