Welcome to EarlK Design!
The EarlK Design blog consists mainly of entries that show how to do things using Adobe Photoshop that I hope you will find helpful and give your creative mind more tools to work with.
I use Adobe Photoshop CS6, and sometimes Adobe Illustrator CS5, Lightroom 5, and Corel Painter X. However, I believe that much of what I show can be done using Photoshop Elements.

This texture Tuesday with Kim Klassen is a another Free & Easy.
This morning we had thunderstorms in the area. But by the afternoon it was a beautiful day with blue skies and white fluffy clouds. So, I took a drive through the country side. It is mainly farm land in this area . . . mostly corn and soy beans. I drove along one of my favorite roads. It goes for about 15 miles through the farmland with very little traffic. I took several photos along the way showing the road ahead of me and what was on the side of me. I am in East Central Nebraska.
In the photo of the road ahead of me, if you were to go about 5 miles straight ahead, as the crow flies, beyond the hill at the horizon, you would be at the Missouri River and on the other side of the river would be Iowa.
Here is my Free & Easy textured page.
You can imagine all the green that was in the original photos. I used Kim's texture kk_July-1 to give it some warm gold tones to indicate the heat of the day. It was in the upper 80's degrees. I set the texture blend mode to Hue. Then I added in Kim's texture kk_providence at blend mode Divide. This brightened the image while keeping the gold tones in the sky. Then I added in the dark brown strokes to help delineate the individual photos.
And that is what I did.
That's all for now.
Live life fully.
