For this week's challenge, Sherry gave us:
Your Dream View
In your wildest dreams, what view would you love to see outside your window? Maybe you yearn to see trees made of chocolate and flowers made of gumdrops...or stars that sparkle even the daytime. Even if your dream view is a bit more "down to earth"- serene mountains or a beautiful beach-- please share your interpretation of it with us in your collage.
For my collage, I used a view from my bedroom window. I have trees outside my bedroom window. Currently they have leaves and give me a wonderful view. But, in a few weeks, they will be bare and still give me a wonderful view of their branches. I used one of these wintry views. I actually love to see the bare branches with all the intricate designs that they make. My original photo was taken during the day. Here it is.
But, since this supposed to be a dream sequence, I used the image in the Difference layer blending mode. This gave it a nighttime appearance. And for my dream part, there is the lovely illusion of Liz with her violet eyes appearing.
I actually met Liz at a dance at UCLA. She was 19 years old and really . . . really . . .
What more could a 19 year old boy want to see? She was really a dream.
This is what i can see in my minds eye outside my bedroom window.

That's it for now.
Live life fully.
Welcome to EarlK Design!
The EarlK Design blog consists mainly of entries that show how to do things using Adobe Photoshop that I hope you will find helpful and give your creative mind more tools to work with.
I use Adobe Photoshop CS6, and sometimes Adobe Illustrator CS5, Lightroom 5, and Corel Painter X. However, I believe that much of what I show can be done using Photoshop Elements.
