Wishing you all a most HAPPY NEW YEAR.
For this week's challenge, Kaylene gave us this:
M is for MerrimentThis week's challenge is to take the meaning of merriment and create your own work of art from the following definition: "gaiety, fun or mirth"
Most of the merriment associated with my page was the merriment I had in creating it.
I normally do not use Adobe Illustrator very much, but for the last few days I have been going over some of my Illustrator classes and decided to use it to make parts of my layout. The layout was done in Adobe Photoshop CS6. I created some of the items in Illustrator CS5.1 and exported them into Photoshop.
Here is my page.
The flowers, butterflies, cloud and sun I created in Illustrator. I exported them into Photoshop for coloring and sizing. The flower in the upper left corner is a stamp I made in Photoshop. The design of squares and triangles is a Zentangle design I made in Photoshop. The background paper is one of my watercolor papers. The birds are a brush I have. I do not know where it came from. The dancing children are from one of the free downloads from Dover.
Be sure to visit Collage Obsession to see the other layouts that were created. If you haven't ever joined us for the weekly challenges, please do so and join in the fun.
That's all for now.
Live life fully and enjoy.
Welcome to EarlK Design!
The EarlK Design blog consists mainly of entries that show how to do things using Adobe Photoshop that I hope you will find helpful and give your creative mind more tools to work with.
I use Adobe Photoshop CS6, and sometimes Adobe Illustrator CS5, Lightroom 5, and Corel Painter X. However, I believe that much of what I show can be done using Photoshop Elements.
