How to fade the edges of a photo
In this Quick Tips Number 6, I will show you a couple of ways that you can easily fade the edges of a photo so that the edges blend into the background. One method is to use the Gradient Tool. The other method is to use one of the selection tools, such as the Elliptical Marquee Tool, Rectangular Marquee Tool, or the Lasso Tool.
I will use this flower image in my video.
And blend it into this background. This background is the texture kk_pinit10 from Kim Klassen.
With this result.
Please watch the video to see how you can do this.

Welcome to EarlK Design!
The EarlK Design blog consists mainly of entries that show how to do things using Adobe Photoshop that I hope you will find helpful and give your creative mind more tools to work with.
I use Adobe Photoshop CS6, and sometimes Adobe Illustrator CS5, Lightroom 5, and Corel Painter X. However, I believe that much of what I show can be done using Photoshop Elements.
